It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Joffer (Brooten, Minnesota), born in Corsica, South Dakota, who passed away on August 10, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Simon Plooster and Edith Plooster (Wolbrink); her husband Garrett; her grandsons, Chris Joffer and Travis Eickholt; and her siblings, Lawrence, Esther Niewenhuis, Evelyn Meeter, Roy, Gilbert and Lester.
She is survived by: her children, Gary (Carol) of Brooten, Ron (Jessica) of Willmar, Judy Krebs (Jerry) of Braham, Carol Gilborn (Greg) of Ham Lake and Melody Rust of Becker; her grandchildren, Jeff, Nick (Heather), Tony, Kyle Joffer, Brad, Brian Rust, Melissa Gartner, Jon, Josh Krebs (Zumara) and Jenni Emerick (Jon); her great grandchildren, Libby, Jonny, Sally Emerick, Eden, Jacob and Zophia Krebs; her sister Everine Plooster of Azusa, CA; and her parents-in-law, Helena Lawrence (Harold) of Sioux City, IA, Elsie Schmidt of Marion, SD, Chuck Joffer (Coral) of Parker, SD and Serena Breza (George) of Lavale, MD. She is also survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
