Rick Olson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rick Olson of Brooten, Minnesota, born in Willmar, Minnesota, who passed away on September 19, 2020 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, LeeRoy Olson and Deloris Olson (Lansverk); his granddaughter Kylie Larson; his brother-in-law Jim Syerson; his aunt Doris; and his uncle Oral Lansverk.

He is survived by: his son-in-law Jeremy; his wife Cathy Olson of Brooten; his children, Elise Nelson (Jeremy) of Paynesville, Megan Rodgers of Mayer, Michael of Brooten and David Rodgers of Brooten; his grandchildren, Madison, Jake and Bria; his siblings, Brad Olson (Wendy) of Andover and Linda Syverson of Paynesville; his siblings' children, Jami Syverson (Christy), Meghan Johnson (Ben), Kelly Rooney (Al), Lacey Scheierl and Dustin Olson (Maria); and also, Matthew, Jackie, Brian and McKenzie. He is also survived by many great nieces and nephews, dear family and friends.
