He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Olson and Agnes Olson (Nelson); his siblings, Mrytle Strand (Karl) and Gene Olson (Edna); his siblings-in-law, Donna Olson, Harold McCollum and John Nansen; and his siblings' children, Jeffry, Jason Nansen and Becky Olson.
He is survived by: his wife Katherine; his sons, Michael Olson (Jill) and Eric Olson (Kimberly); his grandchildren, Ashley Olson, Bo Olson, Brianna Olson and Mara Olson; his great grandchild Aleeza Montgomery; and his siblings, Owen Olson, Muriel McCollum and Arlene Staiger.
