He was predeceased by: his parents, John Jr. Twardowski and Mary Twardowski (Bartylla); his wife Vera Peterson; and his siblings, George, Bernice, Lorraine and Alvis.

He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Dvorak (Frank Jr.), Jeff Twardowski (Karen) and Michelle Bauer (Jeff). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
