He was predeceased by: his father George Leon. He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Eileen Garlock; his wife Valerie Garlock of Mary's Catholic Church; his former spouse Branden Hoffman; his brothers, Steve Garlock and Kevin Garlock; his sister-in-law Kelly Garlock; his grandchildren, Levi Lundeen and Jesse Hoffman; his siblings' children, Jason, Jenna, Jessica Garlock, Sherrie Prose, Jessica Prose, Jameson Prose and Dakota Benigni; his sisters-in-law, Carolyn Prose and Kathleen Kerkes; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jordan and Jaxon; his pets, Torie and Emmie Lou Hoo; his children, Ashley Garlock Hoffman (Garlock) and Joshua Garlock; and also, Steve, Kelly Garlock, Tony, Liz Lambert, Craig, Jean DeZiel, Jeff, Holly Kasel, Dean Carlson, Cindy and Greg Mortenson.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Peterson Funeral Home (119 Central Ave, Buffalo, MN 55313).

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to his children, Ashley Garlock Hoffman and Joshua Garlock.
