He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert A. Schlekewy and Luella M. Schlekewy (Samson); his brother Larry Schlekewy; his niece Bonnie Lowe (Gregg); and his stepsiblings, Janet Navratil (Roger), Bobbie Rumpza, Genie Rumpza and Ronnie Rumpza.
He is survived by: his wife Judy M. Schlekewy (Osmondson); his children, Deb Gramza (Greg) and Jason Schlekewy (Heather); his granddaughter Reegan Schlekewy; his siblings, Sandra "Sandy" Rumpza and Lon Schlekewy; his stepsisters, Sandy Meyer (Marshall) and Darlene Buchanan; his nieces, Brenda Lichtenberg (Scott), Mary Rumpza, Susan Knudson (Dale) and Linda Murray; his nephew Brian Rumpza (Cheri); his great-nephews, Andrew Lichtenberg (Stephanie), Brent Lichtenberg (Kristy), Brandon Lowe (Caitlin) and Bryce Rumpza; his great-niece Brooke LeCuyer (Zach); and also, Annie K. Lichtenberg, Bonnie LeCuyer and William Lichtenberg.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Congregational Church (220 W Main St W, Cannon Falls, MN 55009). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
