He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlyle Burton and Beverly Burton; and his sister Gail Rusche. He is survived by: his wife Lola Luffey; his children, Kevin Burton (Mindy) of Loretto, MN and Kelly Love (Kerry) of Lake Stevens, WA; his grandchildren, Maleah, Heathcliff and Lola; his nieces, Leah and Heather Rusche; and his brother-in-law Ray Rusche.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society.
