He was predeceased by : his parents, James Leonard and Frances Leonard (Lindahl); and his son Mark Leonard. He is survived by : his wife Karen Kocourek; his children, John Leonard (Grace) of Cambridge, Tim Leonard of Fergus Falls and Betsy Leonard of Seattle, Washington; and his sisters, Billie Smith of Battle Lake and Joan Colligan of Harlan, Iowa. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
