It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Lowell Fjerstad of Carlton, Minnesota, born in Fosston, Minnesota, who passed away on February 27, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Lloyd Fjerstad and Sadie Fjerstad (Carver); his wife Marie Fjerstad (Cumber); his son Kent Fjerstad; his siblings, Shirley Fjerstad (Knudson), Janis Fjerstad (Aos) and Russell Fjerstad; and his brothers-in-law, Dick Aos, Bill LaVoi and Winton Knudson.

He is survived by : his sons, Clayton (Kim), Colin (Debbie) and Wayne (Angie); his grandchildren, Cassandra, Kurtis, Amy, Janice and Nicholas; his sisters, Mavis LaVoi (Bill), Janis Aos (Dick) and Vicki Strom (Wayne); and his close friends, Bob, Jodi, Samantha and Megan Matarelli.
