He was predeceased by : his father Charles Smith; and his sister Pam Smith. He is survived by : his wife Julie D. Smith; his son Michael Smith Sr.; his grandchildren, Michael Smith Jr. and Madeline Smith; his mother Rita Smith (Ander); and his brother Pat Smith. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
