He was predeceased by : his son Joel. He is survived by : his parents, Russell Barnes and RuthAnn Barnes; his former life partner Tom; his wife Sally Barnes (Anderson); his daughters, Nicole Malic (Neb) and Bridget Svare (Eric); and his sisters, Cindy Hanacek (Scott), Melissa Durand (Pat) and Amy Oestriech (Scott).
