He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Schwitters and Fannie Schwitters (Peters); his brothers, Eugene Schwitters and Wayne Schwitters; and his son-in-law Dan Roelofs.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Meyer; his children, Eileen Brouwer (Arvin) of Prinsburg, Jerry Schwitters (Brenda) of Clara City and Tammy Roelofs Kessler (Scotty) of Papillion, NE; his brothers, Lowell Schwitters (Marcia) and Bob Schwitters (Sharon); and his sisters-in-law, Jan Schwitters and Joy Schwitters. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
