He was predeceased by: his parents, John Zack and Selma Zack; his brothers, Marvin, Donald and Lloyd Zack; his daughter Carrie; and his granddaughter Amanda Zack.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Carlson; and his children, John Zack (Val) of Cloquet, Jay Zack (Katie) of Cloquet, Jeff Zack (Sue) of Cloquet and Debra Zack (Tom) of Esko. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
