With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Diane L. Bednarek of Cloquet, Minnesota, born in Duluth, Minnesota, who passed away on April 8, 2024 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Ralph Paskett and Corinne Paskett (Roberts); her former life partner William Bednarek (Bill); and her sister Donna Paskett. She is survived by : her stepson William Bednarek, Jr. (Billy); her children, Tanya Bednarek (Andy Peterson) and Troy Bednarek; her granddaughter Isla; her stepson Billy; her stepgrandson William Bednarek, III; her grandchild Ashelyn Parker; her siblings, Marsha Sawyer, Debbie Pettersen (Karl), Keith Paskett (Mary), Wayne Paskett and Jon Paskett (Lis); and her close friends, Sandy Williams (Sandy) and Mary Belle. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Nelson Funeral Care (1004 Cloquet Ave, Cloquet, MN 55720). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
