He is survived by: his wife Linda Makela; his daughter Debra Hennis (Robert); his siblings, Roger Makela (Sylvia), Randy Makela (Carol), David Makela and Darlene Reini; his stepchildren, Brian Johnson (Lisa), John Darland (Yu Ping) and Kathy Stewart (Scott); his grandchildren, Heather Seed (Adam) and Harmoni Price (Travis); his great grandchildren, Tyler, Bella, Olivia, Kayle, Luke, Greta, Samantha, Allysa, Nicolle and Destiny; his great great grandchild Huxley; and his pet Pedro. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
