With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mona Jean Anderson of Cloquet, Minnesota, who passed away on April 14, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Gunder Fjalstad and Irene Fjalstad (Hogfoss); her brothers, Wayne and Sherman; her son David Olaf Brown; and her parents-in-law, Lloyd and Vivian Anderson (Madden).

She is survived by : her husband Larry A. Anderson; her daughter Rebecca Leigh Brown (Brad Casey); her siblings-in-law, Bruce Anderson (Susan), Sandra Fjalstad, Carol Gaard and Arnella McMahan; and her nieces and nephews, Lisa Kottke (Matt), Jon Fjalstad (Carol), Peter Gaard (Joy), Kristin Hernandez (Daniel), Mark Anderson (Heather), Sean Anderson (Aimee) and Sheena Whisenhunt (Christopher "Zeke"). She is also survived by many great nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, May 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Our Saviors Lutheran Church (615 12th St, Cloquet, MN 55720).

Inurnment: Maple Grove Cemetery, Cloquet, MN Mona asked that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Hope Lutheran Church, Toivola, Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Cloquet, the Cloquet Shaw Memorial Library Foundation, the American Cancer Society, or your favorite charity.
