He is survived by: his wife Beverly J. Smith; his children, Rodney Polson (Sandy), William Polson (Alice) and Colleen Scanlon; his siblings, John Polson (Carol), Shirley Martens (Michael) and Carol Belland; and his grandchildren, Jeremy, Chad, Tiffany, Chantelle and Ashley. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
