She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Fichuc and Veronica Fichuc (Krawchuck); her husband Marcus Rankila; her children, Kevin Rankila, Tamara Rankila, Bruce and Brian Rankila (Rebecca); and her granddaughters, Megan Rankila (Matt) and McKenzie Rankila (Collin).
