It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Doris Jean Birkemeyer of Cokato, Minnesota, who passed away on September 24, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Birkemeyer; her sons, Kurt, Kim and Kyle; and her parents, Frank Hillmeyer and Esther Hillmeyer.
She is survived by: her son Kris; her daughter-in-law Bridget Birkemeyer; and her grandchildren, William Brikemeyer, Melanie Birkemeyer (Joel Grave), Hannah Brikemeyer (Zach Fortun), Rebecca Ash, Eric, Orrie, Elaine, Owen, Perseus, Palmer, Bohdi, Berlyn, Paul Hillmeyer, Mary Cole, Ruth Johnson, Susie Hillmeyer, Patricia Hillmeyer and Susan Hillmeyer.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Johnson-Hagglund Funeral & Cremation Service (125 S Armstrong Ave, Litchfield, MN 55355). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
