We are sad to announce that on July 11, 2019, at the age of 89, Ivan Elg (Comfrey, Minnesota) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Elg and Adabelle Elg (Rask); his wife Ione Johnson; and his siblings, Kenneth and Ardis.
He is survived by: his children, Denise Ludewig (Mike) of Comfrey, Mary Carlson (Dennis) of New Ulm, Marlys Christensen (Bob) of New Ulm and David Elg (Paula) of Butterfield; his grandchildren, Kyle Ludewig, Lisa Brown (Josh), Aaron Ludewig, Joseph Johnson (Darcy), Ryan Johnson (Grace), Andrew Christensen (Amanda), T. J. Christensen (Fayth), John Christensen (Anna), Anthony Elg (Tawana) and Travis Elg (Alison); and his brother-in-law Henry Engdahl. He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren.
