It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Berniece K. Mazanec of Coon Rapids, Minnesota, who passed away on July 8, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Berniece may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Berniece touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, German and Odessa. She is survived by: her husband Dick; her children, Karen (Paco) of Mexico City and Paul (Michelle); and her granddaughter Laura of Ham Lake.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Church of St. Timothy (707 89th Ave NE, Blaine, MN 55434). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery (7601 34th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55450).
