She was predeceased by : her parents, Alfred Slette and Ella Slette (Olman); her husband Wally; her friend Harold Huggs; her brother Lloyd Slette; and her brother-in-law Milan Samshal.

She is survived by : her siblings, Valley and LaVern Samshal of Crookston; her sister-in-law Bonnie Slette; her great-nephew James "Jamie" Knutson of Crookston; her nieces and nephews, Debbie Knutson, Gary Knutson of Crookston, Ronnie Samshal (Judy) of Moorhead, MN, Diane Riopelle (Scott) of Crookston, Stacy Slette (Mike Meyer) of Washington, D. C. and Scott Slette of Wheaton, IL; and also Huggs. She is also survived by extended families; and many dear friends.
