Betty Nelson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Nelson of Dalton, Minnesota, who passed away on December 13, 2020 at the age of 69. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty Nelson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by : her parents, John Hardenberg and Margaret "Peggy" Hardenberg (Wahl); and her brother Dale Hardenberg. She is survived by : her former life partner Sidney Nelson; her husband Sid; her daughters, Angela Fredrickson (Zachary) of Fergus Falls, Sara Hage (Darren) of Fergus Falls, Lynnette Nelson of Orono and Lori Thorsen (Dean) of Dalton; her grandchildren, Jessica Mammenga (Chad) of Rogers, Mitchell Thorsen of Grand Forks, Race, Dain Nelson of Orono and Roric Hage of Fergus Falls; her great grandchildren, Harper, Everett and Graham Mammenga of Rogers; her stepgranddaughter Lilly Priebnow of Fergus Falls; her brother Paul Hardenberg (Linda) of Garrison; and her sisters-in-law, Shirley Kirkvold (Harlan) of Baxter, Louanne Fronning (John Hughes) of Clitherall and Connie DeKrey (Kevin) of Reiles Acres. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19 and the safety of family and friends a memorial service and interment will be held in the summer of 2021 to celebrate the life of Betty Jean Nelson.
Memorials are preferred to Parkinson's Disease Foundation for Research or Our Savior's Ten Mile Lake Church.
