With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Katherine Carlen of Dassel, Minnesota, born in Litchfield, Minnesota, who passed away on March 9, 2021 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Gillman and Katherine Gillman (Wessels); her sibling Marvel Blom (Donald) of Hutchinson; her grandson Austin Carlen; and her brother Lowell Gillman.
She is survived by: her sister Marcia; her husband Harlund Carlen of Dassel; her children, Kristi Cochran (David) of Waverly, Kimberly Stallman (Richard) of Dayton and Kevin Carlen (Nicole) of Dassel; her grandchildren, Nicholas Cochran (Cyndi), Justin Cochran (Joanna), Brenda Evans, Bridget Tate (Keith), Jamie Stallman, Alexis Carlen (Dylan Gehrke), Anna Carlen (David Aakhus) and Alyssa Carlen; and her great grandchildren, Travis, Hudson Cochran, Zoey, Brianna, Devon Manthei, Cameron, Grant, Paige Cochran, Jackson and Easton Tate. She is also survived by siblings, and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Those attending are asked to wear a mask and use social distancing.
