She was predeceased by : her husband Joel Torstenson; her parents, Gunder Anderson and Ina Anderson; her siblings, Evelyn Larson (Vern), Ionne O'Connors (Ralph), Philip Anderson, Charles Anderson (Lillian) and Douglas Anderson (Lois); and her brothers-in-law, Roger Gronholz and Bill Andreasen.
She is survived by : her daughters, Carol McCausland (Allan), Ruth Ann Torstenson LeMasters (Gary), Linnea Torstenson and Janice Marie Garry (Stuart); her grandchildren, Susan McCausland, Greg McCausland (Jess), Frank Ott, Joel Ott (Eleanor), Jeremy Dobson (Jeanne), Josephine Mann (Joel), Eli Beach, Heather Schwartz, Alicia Granse and James Granse; her sisters, Barbara Andreasen and Margaret Gronholz; and her sister-in-law Ruth Anderson. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
