We are sad to announce that on January 27, 2024, at the age of 89, Betty Lou Karkinen of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Leske and Ida Leske (Redetzke); and her siblings, Eugene, Arnold, Margaret, Dorothy, Doreen, Darlene and Mildred.

She is survived by : her sisters, Donna and Elaine; her children, Deborah, David and Robert; her granddaughter Tamara Jenson (Marty); her great grandchildren, Chantel Francis (Derek), Tara Fuller (Tyler) and Kendra Jenson; and her great great grandchildren, Kayson, Brielle, Brody, Kamden, Olivia, Cattleya and Colt.
