Carolyn Nelson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn Nelson of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on March 23, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Forseth and Ruth Forseth (Kinlund); her husband Orland Nelson; her son Randy Nelson; her grandson Hayden Nelson; and her nephew David Forseth.
She is survived by: her children, Renee Nelson (Tim Ashton) of Maplewood, MN and Rick Nelson (Steph) of Hawley, MN; and her siblings, Marlys Carlson (Ron), Dean Forseth (Leone) and Al Forseth (Jill Frei). She is also survived by her grandchildren, her great-grandchildren, and her children.
