She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, John Bellanger (Johnny Bell) and Elizabeth Jane Rock (Eliza); her former life partner Delmar "Tonto" Basswood; her grandparents, George Bellanger, Esther Jourdain, James Rock, Nancy Pennington Rock LaRose and John LaRose; her siblings, Leonard "Boye" Bellanger, Katherine and Marcianna Bellanger; her grandson Kevin Basswood Jr.; her aunts and uncles, Willis Rock, Emil Rock, William "Tip" Rock, Bernard Rock, Charlotte "Shun" Boswell, Katherine, Wells and Leona Johnson; her half-sisters, Betty Lou King, Joyce Badboy, Christina Schwanke, Joann Wade and Evelyn Lang; her nephews, Jerry Bellanger, Jon "Rudy" Bellanger and Deron Ellis; her niece Charlotte Robbins; her great-nephew Stephen Bellanger; her children, Leroy (Bonnie), Calvin, Kevin Basswood Sr. and Rochelle Basswood; her grandchildren, Lee Basswood, Cora Jones and Jasmine Clark; and her sisters, Beverly Ellis, Geraldine Bellanger, Irene Adams, Theresa, Marlene and Roberta Bellanger.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Old Pine Point School (48075 Pow Wow Hwy, Pine Point, MN 56575). A prayer was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
