She was predeceased by: her parents, Don Johnson and Vi Johnson (Ash); her husband Coleman Nordhausen; her parents-in-law, August and Frieda Nordhausen (Riegel); and her sister Jean Wilson.
She is survived by: her daughter Michelle Piepkorn (Scott) of Park Rapids, MN; her grandson Kyle Piepkorn (Hali Stiyer) of Park Rapids, MN; her great grandchildren, Jameson Stiyer and Branson; her brother Phil Johnson of Milford, Iowa; and her brother-in-law Fred Nordhausen of Butterfield, MN. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; and her special second family.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the West Kjos Funeral Home Cremation Services (900 Summit Ave, Detroit Lakes, MN 56501). A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
