Lorraine Marlys Anderson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lorraine Marlys Anderson of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, who passed away on October 7, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Vizenor and Mildred Vizenor (Landgren); her husband Noel Anderson; her grandson Noak Anderson; and her brother Larry Vizenor.
She is survived by: her sons, Nyle Anderson (Tracy) of Burlington, WI and Rhys Anderson (Sheila) of Detroit Lakes, MN; her grandchildren, Taylor Anderson, Alexa Anderson-Kelley (Michael), Gabriel Anderson and Amelia Anderson; her sister Jeanette Streander; and her sisters-in-law, Teresa Vizenor and Maxine Larkin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the West Kjos Funeral Home Cremation Services (900 Summit Ave, Detroit Lakes, MN 56501). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Oak Grove Cemetery (515 US-59, Detroit Lakes, MN 56501).
