He was predeceased by : his parents, Theodore Tinjum and Signe Tinjum (Bergseng); his siblings, Clayton and Ingeborg Magnuson; and his siblings-in-law, Dr. Wilbur Leibbrand, Jim Magnuson, Vern Marschke, Loren Geiszler, Pat Tinjum, Madeline Marschke, Ann Marschke and Naomi Jendro.
He is survived by : his wife Marilyn Marschke; his children, Brian (Clarissa) of Detroit Lakes, Carolyn Herman (Jim) of Detroit Lakes, Beth of Detroit Lakes and Kevin (Trish) of Detroit Lakes; his siblings, Helen Geiszler, Eleanor Leibbrand, Virginia Johnson (Carlton Jerome), Bruce (Linda) and Ted; his siblings-in-law, Lucile Tullbane, Marilyn R. Tinjum, Ben Jendro, Keith Marschke (Barb) and Kent Marschke; his grandchildren, Theodore, Ward (Jayna), Victoria, Molly, Sophie Tinjum, Emma Althoff and Dylan Herman; and his great grandchild Parker Ward Tinjum. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
