She was predeceased by : her parents, Leonard Wayne and Ilene Jean Compton (Gurno); her brother Clyde Joseph Atwood; and her uncle Leonard. She is survived by : her husband Ed Smith; her children, Stuart Smith (Siobhan) of Easton, PA, Ian Smith (Nicole) of Lake Elmo, MN and Shannon Davis of Waltham, MA; and her sisters, Kimberly Spoor (Peter) of Duluth, Dawn Schulze (Mark) of Duluth and Dia Linn. She is also survived by four grandchildren.
She died of complications due to COVID-19.
