With heavy hearts, we announce the death of HelenMary Sysimaki of Duluth, Minnesota, born in Alexandria, Minnesota, who passed away on January 31, 2022 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. K. V. Arminen and Alma Arminen (Ristell); and her husband Bill Sysimaki. She is survived by: her children, Linda Habberstad (Brad) of Island Lake and Jim (Heather) of Onalaska, WI; her grandchildren, Nikki Bunting (Joel), Kaylyn Holets (Jon), Ari Sysimaki, Matti Sysimaki and Kaija Towle (Ben); and her great grandchildren, Levi Bunting, Taraji and Tatiana Holets. She is also survived by Her children, their spouses, grandchildren their spouses, and great-grandchildren.
