She was predeceased by: her son Eric. She is survived by: her parents, William Erickson and Colleen Erickson (Budke); her spouse Robert Kuster; her son Dean; her sister Lori Hicks (Joe); her niece Emily Carlstrom; her great-nephew Austin; and her aunts, Karen Hakala (Glenn) and Susan Stephenson. She is also survived by several cousins; and many great friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in her honor preferred to Animal Allies of Duluth, 4006 Airport Rd.
