Roberta Stoetzel Obituary
We bid farewell to Roberta Stoetzel of Duluth, Minnesota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 5, 2025 at the age of 84. Roberta touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Dietrick and Margaret Dietrick; her sister Joanne Butler; her daughter Julie Ann; and her grandson Casey Stoetzel.
She is survived by: her husband Clarence "Chuck" Stoetzel; her children, Terri Schmitz (Brian Nelson), Annette Tucker (Steven), Daniel (Lindsay) and Timothy; her grandchildren, Jake, Kayloni, Adam, Zack, Alissa, Zoe, Henry, Brianna, Julianna, Thomas, Kaitlyn and Sophie; her sister Wendy Machmer (Rich); and her sibling's children, Amy, Chris and Bob. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, August 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A prayer will be held on Sunday, August 17th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Dougherty Funeral Home (600 E 2nd St, Duluth, MN 55805). A Mass will be held on Monday, August 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Benedict's Catholic Church (1419 St Benedict St, Duluth, MN 55811).
