She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Royce and Clarice Royce (Morgan); her siblings, Richard Royce, Sharon Shields and Rita Royce; her parents-in-law, Robert and Leanna Helmers; and her brother-in-law Doug Johnson.

She is survived by: her husband Alan Helmers of Dunnell, Minnesota; her daughters, Krissy Heifner (Jeremiah) of Dunnell, Sami Jo Nelson (Kurt) of Dunnell, Minnesota and Eva Maria Seidl of Germany; her granddaughters, Brenna Heifner, Briggs Helmers-Werner and Bristol Nelson; her siblings, Chuck Royce (Joyce) of Winnebago, Minnesota, Ken Royce of Winnebago, Minnesota, Barb Kernkamp of Forest Lake and Juanita Bleess (Mike) of Granada, Minnesota; her sister-in-law Deb Johnson of Bremerton, WA; and her brothers, Dennis (Connie Helmers), Mike (Sharon Helmers), Gary Helmers (Denise Hoffman) and Terry (Becky Helmers). She is also survived by nieces and nephews and other relatives.
