He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret (Peggy); and his sister Ellen Windorfer. He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Failes-Coad and Kathy Carpenter (Pat); and his grandchildren, Adele Failes (Elena), Meghan Terry (Justin) and Emily Coad. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
