She was predeceased by : her parents, Wilbur "Hon" Johnston and Mabel "Mae" Johnston; her sister Doris Lance; her brother-in-law Richard Lance; and her great-niece Gabrielle Lance.

She is survived by : her nieces and nephews, Catherine Yates (Cliff), Dan Lance (Carole), John Lance (Karen), Susan Hart (Paul), David Lance and Tom Lance (Alisa); her cousins, Denny (Linda), Maetzold and David Maetzold (Sharon); her friend Mert; her family Minnewaska; and her niece Cathy.
