With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Laurie Christiansen of East Grand Forks, Minnesota, who passed away on May 21, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Laurie is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Laurie's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Ford and Beverly Ford (Hensrud); and her husband Glenn Christiansen. She is survived by: her children, Matt Christiansen (Tania), Ryan Christiansen and Todd Christiansen; and her siblings, Jim Ford (Bonnie), Donna Ellertson (Gene), Gary Ford (Karen), Cheryl Harlow and Rahn Ford (Debbie). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dahl Funeral Home (2029 Central Ave NW, East Grand Forks, MN 56721). A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
