He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Edwin Frederick John Mickow and Elvera Louisa Schroeder; his wife Lorraine Joyce "Newts" Kuhl; his children, Pam Mickow (Rich Ristau), Theresa Splittstoesser (Miles Hinsch), Kevin Mickow (Alicia), Joel Mickow (Shelley) and Shana Schaefer (Courtney); his sister Darlene; and his brother-in-law Jerry Bierbaum. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
