We are sad to announce that on April 20, 2020 we had to say goodbye to David Smythe (Ellsworth, Minnesota), born in Rock Rapids, Iowa. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of David Smythe to show support.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Richard Smythe and Leona Smythe (Nagel); and his siblings, Wava June Zoet, Joseph Smythe, Beverly Ann Smythe, George Patrick Smythe, Donald Jerome Smythe and Richard John Smythe.

He is survived by : his former life partner Colette Odens; his children, Shauna, Toby Smythe (Barbara) of Tea, SD and Krista Boom (Benton) of Tea, SD; and his brothers, Tom Smythe of Belle Plain, KS and Theodore "Ted" Smythe (Linda) of Rifle, CO.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
