He was predeceased by : his parents, Elias Maki and Ailie Maki (Maki); his daughter Teresa Erickson; his brother Loren Maki; and his son-in-law Glenn Erickson.

He is survived by : his wife Sarah Marie; his daughters, Angie Miller (Jeff), Stacy Davidson (Troy) and Sherry Maki (Jerry); his grandchildren, Travis Erickson, Shauna Sampson, Chayce Sampson, Eric Erickson, McKenzie Sampson, Ethan Erickson, Dylan Maki, Cole Maki, Blayze Davidson, Kaiden Maki and Ava Redetzke; his great grandchildren, Ryan, Keagan, Kael and Landyn; and his siblings, Doris Moberg (Roger), Rico (Hazel), Glenn (Doreen) and David Maki (Veronica). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
