He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Breckenfelder and Hilda Breckenfelder (Hensel); his wife Wilma Pfannkuch; and his brothers, Frank Breckenfelder (Opal) and Elmer Breckenfelder (Betty).
He is survived by: his daughters, Margie Johnson (Russ) of Minneapolis, MN and Mary Jo Dillon (Tom); his grandchildren, Mallory Shetka (Jesse), Mitchell Dillon (Rachel), Gretchen and Cassie Dillon; his stepgrandchildren, Becky Harmon and Christy Johnson; his great grandchildren, Isaac, Genevieve and Amelia Shetka; and his sister-in-law LaVelle Follingstad (Paul). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
