It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Anton Kaffine Jr. of Eveleth, Minnesota, born in Montreal, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 11, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Carl Kaffine and Rose Kaffine (Mezzano); his wife Elsie Valle of Mary's Catholic Church; his son Thomas; and his siblings, Nancy Linnemanstons, James and Donald.

He is survived by : his children, Steve (Kathy), Bill (Kirsten), Mary Surma (Jack), Jane Leslie (Dan), Jean Annoni (Marty) and Gloria Habeck (Keith); his daughter-in-law Lissa Grover; and his brother Lawrence. He is also survived by 15 grandkids, many nieces and nephews.
