She was predeceased by : her parents, Herman Hyvonen and Hilma Hyvonen (Emas); her husband Joseph Straynor; and her siblings, John Hyvonen, Eino Hyvonen, Mary Saari, Annie Esther Hyvonen, William Hyvonen, Milton Hyvonen, Elsie Hyvonen, Arnold Hyvonen, Arthur Hyvonen, Gertrude Kotnik, Raymond Hyvonen and Albert Hyvonen.
She is survived by : her daughter JoAnn Kochar; her grandchildren, Jennifer Wainionpaa (Keith) and Justin Kochar (Teresa); and her great grandchildren, Kyle, Brooke Pontinen, Austin, Autumn Kochar and Kayla Wainionpaa. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
