He was predeceased by: his parents, George Johnson and Marie Johnson (Muhs); and his sister Marlene Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Johnson (Karg); his children, Kevin Johnson (Sheila) of Kansas City, MO, Gayle Place of Excelsior and Michele Eckhoff (Wade) of Eden Prairie; his grandchildren, Kelli Johnson, Chandra Johnson (Clint Morrow), Travis Johnson (Blane Davis), Jennie Place, Austin Eckhoff and Briana Eckhoff; his great grandchildren, Nicholas, Chance and Tristan Gresham; his brother George Johnson (Barb) of Plymouth; and his nieces, Lisa Christensen (Jeff) and Nancy Kettler (Paul). He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
