She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Oscar, Elsie Bygd, Rudy and Ruth Nelson; her aunts and uncles, Tom, Don Nelson, Pat Burow and Alice Bygd; and her cousin Dean Burow.
She is survived by: her parents, Jim Nelson and Thelma Nelson (Bygd); her daughters, Alyssa and Grace Bentley; her granddaughter Athena Marie Wright; her brother Mike Nelson; her nephew Ryder; and her close friend Christine McGoon. She is also survived by aunts; uncles; cousins; other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the Virginia Piper Cancer Center, Faribault or Allina Hospice.
