He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford M. Nelson and Thelma M. Nelson (Robbins); his wife Glenda Lu Johnson; his sister Sandra Maybon (Donald); his brother-in-law James Sterling; his parents-in-law, Ernest and Bonnie Johnson; and his sister-in-law Doraee Dahms (Vern).
He is survived by: his daughters, Dawn Nelson and Wendy Wathen (Don); his grandsons, Cory and Jordon Wathen; and his siblings, Donald Nelson (Myra), Cheryl Sterling and Cynthia Schuenke (Stewart). He is also survived by nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends.
