He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudy Baalson and Stella Baalson (Lester); his great grandchild Brooklyn; and his siblings, Roger Baalson and Kathleen Baalson.

He is survived by: his wife Ramona Boevers; his daughters, Shelley Castle (Billy) of Faribault and Kimberly Monson (Bryan) of Faribault; and his brother Steven Baalson (Laura) of Kenyon. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren.
