It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Marie Fischer of Faribault, Minnesota, who passed away on January 17, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Sommers and Alice Sommers (Vail); her husband Gordon; her siblings, Raymond Sommers (Betty Lou), Everett Sommers (Emma), Della Gunderson, Delores Strasser (Eugene), Roger Sommers (Delores), Donald Sommers (Sharon) and Betty Lou Hoppe (Larry); and her nephews, Steven Sommers and John Gunderson.
She is survived by: her brother Lester Sommers; and her brother-in-law Lester Gunderson. She is also survived by fourteen nieces; eight nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Fourth Avenue United Methodist Church, Faribault.
